So, not up on your John Le Carré and looking to bone up on who is who in the upcoming, highly anticipated adaptation of “Tinker Tailor Solider Spy“? Well, today is your lucky day.
Spanning pretty much every member of the extensive cast including Tom Hardy, Colin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ciaran Hinds, Svetlana Khodchenko, Toby Jones, John Hurt, Stephen Graham and Kathy Burke, get to know the characters in the forthcoming spy thriller below, starting with the man leading the charge, the retired George Smiley (Oldman), who is tasked with finding the mole in the spy organization. The suspects? Roy Bland (Hinds), Percy Alleline (Jones), Bill Haydon (Firth) and Toby Esterhase (played by David Dencik). Taking a page from the profiles Sony put together for the cast of “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” you’ll get a pretty good detailing on each character, though you might just want to leave it as a surprise when you eventually see the film yourself. But if you are curious, you’ll have to head over to Apple to read all the fine print as the resizing and the font size do not get along well.
“Tinker Tailer Solider Spy” already hit cinemas in the U.K. but we’re still patiently waiting until December 9th when it arrives stateside. But this is surely the first part of what will be a massive campaign for the movie, which has Oscar — particularly for Gary Oldman — written all over it. Images and profiles below.
