If you’re wondering what happened to the gang of the “American Pie” series — Seann William Scott, Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari, Jennifer Coolidge and Allyson Hannigan — well, all will be answered in the upcoming “American Reunion” which will give a lot of these cast members some of their biggest work in years.
The plot, as the title suggests, gets everyone together for their 10-year high school reunion and it will roll into theaters just as classes are winding down for the year, on April 6, 2012. There is currently nothing else scheduled that weekend, but considering it will be an Easter holiday, some other titles should soon be slotted to compete against the film.
”Harold & Kumar” series creators Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg have penned the sure to be low brow screenplay and will be directing the film which is gearing up to shoot this summer. [Deadline]
