No aliens, no real indication of who is actually in the space suit or even what the hell we’re looking at, but that doesn’t make the first look at Ridley Scott‘s guarded “Prometheus” any less exciting, and with a panel presentation coming up later on today at Comic-Con, more morsels of info are sure to be shared.
Here’s what we know so far: The film stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Rafe Spall, Logan Marshall-Green, Guy Pearce (and maybe Ben Foster) in a film that is prequel/spinoff from the world first created in “Alien,” sharing some of its DNA. Yes, details are vague and under wraps and for the most part, seem to be mostly speculation. Propelled by rumors, Fox did drop an official synopsis, which you can read below but it’s so obtuse, Terrence Malick might as well have written it. Questions will be answered when the the film opens on June 8, 2012. [via Collider]
