‘The Hangover Part II’ Soundtrack Features Danzig, Kanye West, Curtis Mayfield, Jenny Lewis & More

Ed Helms Covers “Allentown,” Mike Tyson Takes On “One Night In Bangkok”

Yep, The Wolfpack is back, this time in Thailand, and while the latest TV spots are working hard to get us past the ‘been there/done that’ feel of the affair, new soundtrack info has also added some interesting flavor.

As we previously reported, Danzig has penned an original tune for the film that kicks off the forthcoming disc, and from there things definitely swing a few directions: from hip hop (Kanye West‘s “Stronger”) to electronica (Deadmau5‘s “Sofi Needs A Ladder”) to classic soul (Curtis Mayfield‘s “Pusherman”) to quiet indie crooning (Jenny Lewis‘ “Bad Man’s World”). All in all not too shabby, but we’ll be most interested to hear the covers from Ed Helms — who will tackle Billy Joel‘s “Allentown” — and uh, Mike Tyson will give his rendition of Murray Head‘s ’80s hit “One Night In Bangkok” (how apropos).

The soundtrack will hit on May 23rd with the film landing a few days later on May 26th. Full tracklisting below. [via Film Music Reporter]
