Well, it was inevitable this would happen, so enjoy it while you can. The much-buzzed-about red band trailer for David Fincher‘s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” has leaked to the web via someone’s better-than-average cam capture. As you know, it features Trent Reznor and Karen O ripping through a cover of Led Zeppelin‘s “Immigrant Song.” Also? It fucking rules.
The big story about ‘Dragon Tattoo’ is the transformational performance by Rooney Mara and in the brief glimpses we get here, she looks undeniably fierce. Yes, for you perverts out there, there is a brief glimpse of nudity but your boners may be softened by the overall unbelievably grim tone and dour look Fincher brings to the dark story. In fact, it seems like the darkest film — at least visually — Fincher has tackled since “Se7en.” Appropriately, the film is tagged: “The Feel Bad Movie Of Christmas.” No doubt.
Starring Mara, Daniel Craig, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Stellan Skarsgård, Yorick van Wageningen, Bengt C.W.
