Glenn Danzig Writes New Song For ‘Hangover 2’; Linkin Park Remix Themselves For ‘Transformers 3’

New Character Posters For ‘The Hangover 2’ Revealed

Now that we got all of that Cannes stuff out of the way — at least for this morning — back to the summer blahs which means big, expensive popcorn fare that won’t tax the brain, but aims to dazzle the eye. And with these projects looking to obliterate all of your senses, no surprise that that two films have brought on some big names to help flex their muscle in the music department.

For “The Hangvoer Part II,” Todd Phillips and music supervisor George Drakoulius asked for Misfits frontman and eternal badass Glenn Danzig — whose “Thirteen” was featured in the previous film — if he’d write a new tune for the movie. And he has. “Black Hell” will feature on the soundtrack for the film that will have the Wolfpack in Bangkok getting into, if the trailer means anything, more or less the exact same hijinks as they did in Vegas, only in a different climate. The film opens on Memorial Day and oh yeah, some new character posters for the film have dropped which you can check out the jump.

Do you like godawful “alternative” music and robots beating the living shit out of each other? Michael Bay has made your dream come true by asking the atrocious Linkin Park to remix their song “Iridescent” for “Transformers: The Dark Of The Moon.” It will serve as the theme for the film which terrifies us to no end. For the five Linkin Park fans who read our site, you can listen to the rejiggered tune below. For everyone else, don’t say we didn’t warn you. [Blabbermouth/Yahoo/MovieWeb]
