Director Says Original Film Is Like “My Little Pony” Compared To Harrowing Sequel
A small little exclusive for you horror fans out there. Composer James Edward Barker (“Psych:9,” released by Sam Raimi‘s Ghost House distribution label) has now been signed on to write the sure-to-be-harrowing score and music design to Tom Six‘s “The Human Centipede II : Full Sequence.”
If you’ve seen the original, you know it’s one of the most terrifying films ever made and genuinely a wrong and disturbing experience. One that this writer can’t really endorse that you watch, but that’s neither here nor there. Our reviewer seemed to love the balls craziness of the stomach-churning ass-to-mouth scare pic, singling out the remarkable performance by Dieter Laser and calling the movie “the only horror film in recent years to illustrate how losing your own identity could be a worse fate than simply passing on.” OK, then.
Barker is also currently developing a score for Michael Bassett‘s gothic horror “Saint Mary” which will be the director’s next post-“Silent Hill 2” aka “Silent Hill: Revelation 3D” horror picture which he is currently filming for Sony. Meanwhile, sicko ‘Centipede’ director Tom Six has us genuinely scared at the thought of his upcoming sequel.
“Not only does it have way more people in the human centipede, it is also is way more controversial,” he told THR this week in an email interview. “Part 1 is like ‘My Little Pony’ compared to part 2.”
Walk away — slowly — and don’t make eye contact. There’s no release date for “The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)” but it’s expected to arrive in theaters later this year. We assume you’ll either go blind afterwards, will suffer from emotional trauma or cinema as we know it will end. Meanwhile, please read the IMDB comments for this film as they are total gold. “100% medically INaccurate!” indeed.
