New Poster For ‘Hanna’ Tells You To “Adapt Or Die”

Opinion has been mixed thus far on Joe Wright‘s forthcoming teenage assassin flick “Hanna.” And early look at footage at New York Comic Con was met with a muted response and the first trailer for the film seemed to be a bit all over the place. But there’s still a few months to go to sway opinion and a new poster has arrived that hopes to change the tide.

Sticking with the fierce look of the titular Hanna that was displayed throughout the trailer, this new poster gets right to the point with the tagline: “Adapt Or Die.” Starring Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hollander, Olivia Williams and Jason Flemyng the story centers on a 16-year-old (Ronan) who was raised by her father (Bana) to be a coldhearted killing machine and then connects with a French family who look to help ease her into a more conventional life. Blanchett plays the CIA spy agent trying to track her down. Sounds like crackerjack stuff, but like we said, that first trailer put us off slightly. And in case you forgot, the Chemical Brothers are doing the soundtrack. Awesome.

Guess we’ll see when the film opens on April 8th. Check out the full synopsis and poster below.

Raised by her father (Eric Bana of Star Trek), an ex-CIA man, in the wilds of Finland, Hanna’s upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her the perfect assassin. The turning point in her adolescence is a sharp one; sent into the world by her father on a mission, Hanna journeys stealthily across Europe while eluding agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative with secrets of her own (Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett). As she nears her ultimate target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence and unexpected questions about her humanity.
