With Daniel Craig back, Sam Mendes confirmed to direct, an official release date set and production moving forward, we’ll soon be hearing lots more about casting. But for now, a familiar face from the last six James Bond films will be back.
MI6 reports that Judi Dench, speaking to the media after the South Bank Sky Arts Awards said “Yes” when asked if she will be returning to the franchise. But when asked for more details on the film she quashed any further talk saying, “Nothing… my lips are sealed. I can’t tell you anything at all!”
What we know about the upcoming film is pretty much zilch, but the project has a script by Neal Purvis (”The World Is Not Enough”), Robert Wade and John Logan (”The Aviator,” “Hugo Cabret”). Peter Morgan, who was attached in early development, left the project last year.
“James Bond 23” will hit theaters on November 9, 2012. Production on the film starts in late 2011.
