‘The Hangover Part II’ Dudes Are Greasy Chic On Film’s New Poster

The boys, err, the Wolfpaack are back in town. The first poster for “The Hangover 2” has hit the films’ Facebook page and it shows the boys — Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms — in the various states of fucked-up-ness as you’d imagine from this sequel.

So what happens in the follow up to the highest grossing R-Rated comedy of all time, directed once again by comedy-man maestro Todd Phillips? Phil (Cooper), Stu (Helms), and Alan (Galifianakis) travel to Bangkok for Stu’s wedding, only this time, “Doug isn’t lost in this one. There are similar circumstances, but he’s a little bit more involved,” Justin Bartha recently explained. A wedding in Bangkok with three guys that actually lost another human being for a few days in Las Vegas. Does that not seem like an awful/awesome idea?

Hilarity, even in the form of repetition, will hopefully ensue. We would assume that everyone in the cast and crew knows that in this sequel they’re really going to have to bring their A-Game. Our hope? The original ‘Hangover’ was written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, and then Phillips came on board as the helmer and made it his own. This time he was there from the ground-up and even though he’s had some obstacles along the way, “School for Scoundrels” was not great, and “Due Date” was not a slam dunk, we still have faith in the man that directed the mighty comedy classic “Old School” (this one is co-written with Phillips, plus Craig Mazin and Scot Armstrong — Mazin co-wrote “School For Scoundrels,” Armstrong co-wrote “Old School,” worked on the still-unproduced “Old School Dos” and “Road Trip” among other Phillips films). The full “Hangover 2” poster below the jump.

Ok, so “Bangkok has them now” is kind of a terrible tag line, but so what. There’s also a new photo that’s been released, but it doesn’t tell you much either, but clearly the ‘H2’ team is no longer trying to hide the fact that Galifianakis has a shaved head in the film or that Helms has a face tattoo not unlike the one his pal Mike Tyson has.
. “The Hangover Part II,” it’s actually correct title, hits theaters on Memorial Day, May 26.
