A new red band trailer for David Gordon Green‘s “Krull” meets “Pineapple Express” medieval stoner pic “Your Highness” has landed and yes, it’s pretty damn funny and it looks like it’s fully earning its R-rating.
The film sets up a pretty simple premise: When Prince Fabious’ (James Franco) bride (Zooey Deschanel) is kidnapped by an evil wizard, he sets out on a quest to rescue her… accompanied by his lazy, useless brother Thadeous. Of course this is all set in medieval times, and Thadeous is played by Danny McBride, whose character has to kick a pot habit along the way. Natalie Portman is a sexy ass-kicking maiden who joins them on their journey where they encounter magic and monsters. This latest spot doesn’t shy way away from selling the film by having Portman bend over while wearing a thong, or having a bunch of topless fairies run round the forest. But we like the slacker, yet go-for-broke, attitude of the whole thing and we have a feeling that Rasmus Hardiker (he’s Courtney) is going to be stealing scenes wholesale from the rest of the talented cast.
