Ordinarily, doing a post about magazine covers isn’t exactly our thing, but when they’re this cool they’re pretty hard to ignore.
Total Film will bring out the collector in moviegoers when they launch their June issue that will feature four different covers centered around “X-Men: First Class.” True to the ’60s-set film, three of the covers are a great throwback to the era, riffing on the looks of famed magazines such as Time and Esquire; we definitely dig it. And while the cover with January Jones will be sure to get the most attention and taped-to-the-bedroom-wall appeal, this writer kind of prefers the retro cool of Magneto’s martini-drinking cover, though the illustrated Charles Xavier is a close second.
