International Poster & Trailer For ‘Black Swan’ Dazzles

Yes, we know, “Black Swan” has already opened but unless you were in one of the 19 cities that kicked off its debut weekend (it expands to 70 screens this weekend), you’re most likely going to have to wait until Christmas when the film opens wide in 1000 theaters. And if you’re overseas, you’ll be waiting until early in the new year for Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis to dance into your town.

So with that in mind, we figure cinemagoers anxiously awaiting Darren Aronofsky‘s ballet world thriller will be happy to get a peek at whatever they can until the film hits their local arthouse. The latest look at the film is an international trailer and UK poster (Glamour via ComingSoon) that play up on the fragile mental and physical state of the film’s lead character, Nina Sayers (Portman). As you already know, the film tracks Nina as she prepares for a production of “Swan Lake” and deals with rivalry, ego and her own deteriorating psyche as she struggles to perfect her role. It’s an ambitious, breathlessly entertaining piece of work and one we highly recommend.

“Black Swan” is currently rolling out on screens in North America and will open in the UK on January 21st. Trailer after the jump.
