Taylor Lautner Is Going To Prison In ‘Incarceron’

Make no mistake about it, the buff bod of Taylor Lautner is being groomed to be Hollywood’s next action star. He recently wrapped the thriller “Abduction” directed by John Singleton, he’s set to become “Stretch Armstrong” for Universal, and now a new pic that will allow him to go shirtless and flex his muscles is on the way.

Deadline reports that Lautner has become attached to the Fox 2000 film “Incarceron” (awful title, please change). Based on the young adult novel by Catherine Fisher (why mess with a good formula), the story follows Finn (Lautner), “who has lived his entire life on Incarceron, a savage, futuristic prison society. He meets the daughter of the warden, who is trapped in her own prison, a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like the 17th Century. She knows nothing of Incarceron except that it exists. She and Finn simultaneously find a crystal key that allows them to communicate and hatch an escape plan for Finn.” 17th century modern prisons? Crystal keys? We need an Advil.

Adam Cooper and Bill Collage (“Tower Heist“) are writing the screenplay and no director is attached just yet, but obviously, this one won’t go in front of cameras at least until Lautner wraps up “Twilight: Breaking Dawn,” which is currently shooting.
