Francis Ford Coppola is bringing the “Megalopolis” production experience to other filmmakers.
The auteur announced the new pioneering All-Movie Hotel, which offers both hospitality and facilities needed to make films on any scale from smaller independent movies to larger-budget endeavors. The hotel also serves as a destination for film fans “interested in the magic of moviemaking,” per an official press release. The All-Movie Hotel is billed as being the first of its kind, and is on the property where Coppola completed post-production on his self-funded “Megalopolis” in Atlanta suburb Peachtree City, GA.
“I envisioned The All-Movie Hotel to be a space where filmmakers could truly immerse themselves in the creative process, fostering a collaborative environment that inspires innovation,” Coppola said. “I fell in love with Peachtree City during my two years of residency here while shooting ‘Megalopolis’: the people, the easy access to nature and peaceful spots via the famed golf cart paths. We created a completely unique place here for filmmakers and film enthusiasts as well all our Hideaway guests around the world, to enjoy this new hideaway as well as rubbing shoulders with filmmakers in the midst of their work!”
The All-Movie Hotel is the latest property in Coppola’s hotel Hideaway company. Additional Coppola Family Hideaway properties include estates in Belize, Guatemala, Argentina, and Italy. The All-Movie Hotel is the first U.S. Hideaway location.
The All-Movie Hotel offers 27 suites and rooms which were personally designed by Coppola; state-of-the-art post-production facilities – completely modular spaces including two edit suites with laser projection and Meyer Sound 2.1 monitoring, two edit bays, offices, ADR recording room, and a conference room; an insert stage with 360∞ blue or black screen; a “Green Room” – a convivial space with a full kitchen for groups to share meals, break for an espresso, and celebrate post-production milestones; and a screening room/Theater for private viewings/dailies screenings, editing, or 9.1.6 Atmos sound mixing with calibrated Meyer sound monitoring. The hotel also has a swimming pool, wardrobe fitting room, and gym.
Guests can additionally book Coppola’s personal suite of residence where he stayed during the making of “Megalopolis.”
Historically, Coppola is known for celebrating art and providing opportunities to artists. The creation of The All-Movie Hotel continues his commitment to these principles by providing a unique film hub in the town of Peachtree City, offering filmmakers a complete solution for their creative needs.
