Clint Eastwood‘s latest film “Juror #2” will make its world premiere as the closing night film for the upcoming 38th edition of AFI Fest, the festival announced Thursday.

Nicholas Hoult leads the cast of the film that will be released later this year by Warner Bros. Pictures. The world premiere of “Juror #2” will screen at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre on October 27.

“There is only one Clint Eastwood – and AFI is proud to present the World Premiere of this next chapter in his historic canon,” said Bob Gazzale, AFI President and CEO. “We are honored to bring the community together once again – artists and audiences – to celebrate an American icon.”

Several of Eastwood’s more recent films behind the camera have all premiered at AFI Fest, including “American Sniper,” “J. Edgar,” and “Richard Jewell.” In 1996, Eastwood was awarded with the 24th AFI Life Achievement Award, and he received an honorary degree from AFI back in 2009.

Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Chris Messina, Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch, Cedric Yarbrough, Leslie Bibb, and Kiefer Sutherland all co-star in the legal drama, which follows a family man who, while serving as a juror in a high profile murder trial finds himself struggling with a moral dilemma that could sway the jury verdict.

No release date or first look image from “Juror #2” yet, but it figures to release this year as a potential awards contender.

“Juror #2” is written by Jonathan Abrams; produced by Eastwood, Tim Moore, Jessica Meier, Adam Goodman, and Matt Skiena. Executive producers are David M. Bernstein, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, and Jeremy Bell.
