Nominations have been revealed for the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on February 22. The film nominations were led by “Anora” and “I Saw the TV Glow” with six each. In the television categories, “Shōgun”garnered the most nominations with five, followed closely by “Baby Reindeer” and “English Teacher” with four apiece. The 2024 Spirit Award winners were led by “Past Lives,” “The Holdovers,” and “American Fiction,” all of which went on to receive multiple Oscar nominations.
