Are you the parent of some tweenagers who desperately want to see “The Hangover Part II” but aren’t yet old enough to see the raunch of the film? Not to worry, something more age appropriate is around the corner.
Announced earlier in the year with Nickelodean star Victoria Justice in the lead role, “Fun Size” will mark the directing debut of Josh Schwartz, the writer/producer behind “The O.C.” and “Gossip Girl.” Bloody Disgusting has landed their hands on the rest of the cast stepping into the film and it’s led by Johnny Knoxville, the other Winklevoss twin you didn’t see Josh Pence, along with Thomas Mann, Jane Levy, Thomas Middleditch, Thomas McDonell, Osric Chau, Jackson Nicoll, Ana Gasteyer, Holmes Osborne, James Pumphrey, Willam Belli and Peter Navy Tuiasosopo.
Described as a cross between “Superbad” and “Adventures In Babysitting,” the film follows a teenage girl (Justice) who takes her younger brother trick-or-treating, only to take him to a party instead, lose him and must find him before their mother finds out. No word yet on what roles the actors will play, but presumably they are various characters the girl encounters during her night out.
Filming kicks off this month.
