New Posters For ‘Bridesmaids,’ ‘Green Lantern,’ ‘X-Men: First Class’ & More

Also ‘Swinging With The Finkels’ & ‘A Good Old Fashioned Orgy’

A batch of posters to get your day started, so let’s get right to these then shall we?

First up, six character posters have dropped for the upcoming “Bridesmaids” giving each gal their own distinct and not really clever moniker. We don’t need to tell you by now the film has a huge ensemble — Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Jill Clayburgh, Matthew Lucas, Chris O’Dowd, Ellie Kemper, Melissa McCarthy and Wendy McLendon-Covey — and is shaping up to be one of the biggest and funniest comedies of the summer. We certainly dug it when we saw it at SXSW last month. The film opens on May 13th — three more character posters below.

Will “Green Lantern” finish their effects on time for the release date that’s set to arrive in about six weeks or so? That remains the big question, but the Warner Bros. marketing department continues to push ahead with shiny new posters of Sinestro and Kilowog. The movie hits on June 17th.

While the trailers have been ace so far, over in the print section of the Fox marketing department, Photoshop trainees continue to display their work. The latest is another thoroughly dreadful cut and paste poster job which throws a bunch of stuff together over the logo for the movie. Keep up the great work guys! “X-Men: First Class” hits on June 3rd.

Before Martin Freeman will be seen in his iconic role in “The Hobbit,” he’ll have a pretty rote sounding Brit rom-com hitting theaters first. Featuring an uh, eclectic cast that includes Mandy Moore and Jerry Stiller the film follows the titular couple who try and save their marriage by swinging — with hilarious results! The film hits U.K. cinemas on June 17th and we presume will go straight-to-DVD on this side of the ocean unless there is some kind of big Mandy Moore market we’re not aware of.

Finally, a pretty clever poster has arrived for “A Good Old Fashioned Orgy.” The film, which is currently playing at the Tribeca Film Festival and will hit theaters in September, boasts a huge cast — Jason Sudeikis, Tyler Labine, Leslie Bibb, Will Forte, Lucy Punch, Lake Bell, Michelle Borth, Martin Starr, Nick Kroll, Lindsay Sloane and David Koechner — and follows a group of pals who decide to celebrate their last summer in their old stomping grounds by staging an orgy.
