It’s not often that you hear of a cast member joining a film after it has wrapped, but we’ll take it as it comes.
Variety reports that Hayley Atwell (featured in the upcoming “Captain America: The First Avenger“) has joined Charlotte Rampling and Gabriel Byrne in the noir thriller “I, Anna.” Based on the novel by Elsa Lewin, the story is “told from the point of view of a femme fatale who falls for the detective in charge of a murder case.” Eddie Marsan (”Happy Go Lucky”), Bill Milner (”X-Men: First Class”) and Honor Blackman (”Bridget Jones’ Diary”) round up the supporting players in the film by Barnaby Southcombe, who is making his feature debut (he also penned the screenplay).
The film is currently in post-production and it’s probably a safe bet to turn up on the fall festival circuit.
