Geez, James Marsden, has it really come to this? Starring in a movie that requires nothing more than a steady supply of reaction shots from an animated rabbit? Guess you have to keep the lights on however you can.
A new trailer has been released for the live-action/animated “Hop” featuring Marsden and a rabbit voiced by Russell Brand and basically, it looks like it will be this year’s “Marmaduke” or “Garfield.” The film follows an unemployed slacker who accidentally runs over the Easter Bunny and has to take him home while he recovers. But of course, the Easter Bunny is a messy, rockin’ drummer — how will they ever get along? The trailer’s big gag involves David Hasselhoff so that should pretty much tell you all you need to know about the film.
Tim Hill (“Alvin and the Chipmunks“) directed the film which will hit on April 1st. Check out the trailer below or in HD at Apple.
