Scheduling during a film festival is tough and sometimes you can just can’t get in everything you want to see and such is the case for “Peep World,” a film that we couldn’t squeeze into our already packed itinerary at last year’s TIFF. Well, we didn’t have to wait too long to get a chance to see it as it’s set to his theaters soon.
Starring a pretty decent cast including Michael C. Hall, Ben Schwartz, Rainn Wilson, Sarah Silverman, Kate Mara and Taraji P. Henson the film tells the story of four siblings who have to deal with the secrets revealed in the book recently published by the youngest of their brood. The film looks like the adventures of a ragtag bunch of misfits (we particularly like Wilson stretching his wings a bit here) but without an overdose of quirkiness. The film was directed by Barry W. Blaustein (“The Ringer,” “Beyond The Mat“) so we’re intrigued.
“Peep World” will hit VOD on February 9th and theaters on March 25th. Check out the trailer below. [Yahoo]
