New Pics & Featurette For ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ Need Some Adjustment

Word on “The Adjustment Bureau” has not been good. The Matt Damon-starrer has had its release date moved now a couple of times, going from a summer slotted July release date to September and then being shifted once again, and finally, to the beginning of March (almost exactly the same slot where Damon and the studio bit the dust with “Green Zone“). Rumors have been rife for a while about a somewhat troubled production, and this doesn’t bode well, but having said that, maybe the studio are trying to buy some time to rethink their marketing after the first trailer for the film landed with a thud.

Well, to that end, we’re still not convinced. A new featurette has popped up for the film and the premise still seems a little silly. Based on a short story by Philip K. Dick, “The Adjustment Bureau” tells the story of a politician and a ballerina who are caught up in a game of cat-and-mouse when they discover that the world they know is not quite what it seems, and is controlled by a mysterious group who pull the strings behind the scenes. But really, it just looks like Matt Damon fucked with the wrong exec at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce and now has some impeccably dressed dudes after him. The cast is rounded out by Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, Roger Sterling John Slattery, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp.

The film hits theaters on March 4th. You can check out the featurette and some new pics below. [Direct Previews via ONTD]
