Leave it to Robert Downey Jr. to show up wearing a dress and lipstick for an on-set video report, but that’s just how he rolls.
Entertainment Tonight has revealed their visit to the set of “Sherlock Holmes 2” and brought back a bunch of fresh footage from the film. While it contains all the bumbling, quippy rapport between the stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law that you might expect, we also get a look at Noomi Rapace in the film and a glimpses of some of the action set pieces. RDJ already feels the weight of expectation surrounding the sequel, but is doing his best not to constantly compare the new film to its predecessor saying, “There is something — I call it ‘sequelitis’ — about having a movie that takes off and is set up to do a couple more. I just feel you have to work harder and not compare it to anything else, because it’ll just drive you crazy.”
This footage will have to suffice for now as the film enters post-production and a trailer is probably a bit of ways off yet. Check out the interviews and footage and look out for the film when it opens on December 16th.
