The “Batman” empire is getting even bigger thanks to a genius partnership with iconic streetwear brand Kith.
After collaborating with Martin Scorsese, Willem Dafoe, and Steve Buscemi (who, let’s face it, should all have been part of the “Batman” films in one way or another), Kith has announced a Batman | Kith collection and campaign that includes a Batcave takeover at Kith Los Angeles and complimentary film screenings of the Warner Bros. films.
For a limited time at Kith Los Angeles, Batmobiles, Batsuits, and other “Batman” memorabilia from Warner Bros. Discovery Global Archives will be on display to commemorate the Batman | Kith Collection launch. The custom installation will be open to guests from Tuesday, November 19 through November 24, and coincides with the collection launch on November 22.
The collaboration between Kith and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products is the largest ever for Kith. The collection will range from apparel, accessories, and lifestyle goods. Per an official press statement, the collab “celebrates Batman by reimagining modern and archival logos, illustrations, and movie posters through the Kith lens,” with products marking “the Dark Knight’s role as a symbol of determination, courage, and justice to generations of fans around the world.”
Products include the Wayne Industries Moto Jacket, Batman Satin Bomber, The Joker Wool Coaches Jacket, and Catwoman tees. Details for each garment range from custom Wayne Industries embossed logos to comic book-inspired illustrations of The Joker.
This year also marks the 85th anniversary of the debut of Batman in the “Detective Comics #27” in 1939.
Additionally as part of the upcoming collaboration, there will be a Hot Wheels Batmobile installation in Los Angeles. Hot Wheels is selling a new limited-edition Batmobile collectible which features Kith Bat-Signal and artwork. Further collabs include The Noble Collection custom die-cast Bat-Pod replicas and a Modernica fiberglass shell chair with wraparound film poster artwork.
Special complimentary screenings of select “Batman” films, including the works of Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, Christopher Nolan, and Matt Reeves, will take place in New York City, Los Angeles, and Miami to celebrate the cinematic history of the superhero character.
All screenings are free, with seating on a first-come, first-serve basis. Upon approval, guests will receive a limited-edition Batman | Kith Trading Card that corresponds to the film they’re seeing. The first 20 guests per film in each location will receive a PSA-graded card. Every screening will also offer complimentary popcorn and soda in custom Batman | Kith packaging. Attendees of complimentary film screenings will also receive first-access to all-new collection.
