Paul Giamatti Joins ‘The Hangover 2’; Spoiler-ish Photos From The Shoot Leak

Mike Fleming seems to have been saving all of his big guns for Friday afternoon. In yet another exclusive today, Deadline reveals that Paul Giamatti will be joining the cast of “The Hangover 2” which includes the returning quartet of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha, along with Mel Gibson replacement Liam Neeson and Mike Tyson, reprising his role as his Phil Collins-loving self.

Of course, plot details are under wraps, and no word on what character Giamatti will be playing (the deranged tattoo artist that Neeson said he wasn’t playing perhaps?) but we do know the film will be set in Thailand and the actor will be flying there in a few weeks for the shoot (it’s currently shooting in Los Angeles).

In other news from the the film, TMZ has dropped some spoiler-ish images from the shoot so if you don’t want to know what what’s in store please stop reading here. The pictures reveal a bald-headed Galifianakis (though, he also did make a big deal of showing it off during a recent appearance on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon“) and also Ed Helms sporting a facial tattoo that would make Mike Tyson proud. You can check out the video of the Fallon interview and the spoilery images after the jump.
