I finished watching the play at 3:30 a.m. on June 2, 2019. It seems that the film with education and music together is not ugly. This kind of inspirational and affectionate movie always makes me have endless aftertaste. The feeling in the bottom of my heart is quite deep. It should be the resonance that touches the bottom of my heart. I just feel that the water drips into the water and makes a ticking sound. It seems to be saying something gently.
The heroine of the film, Roberta, devotes her youth and time to her husband’s career without reservation. She moves around with her husband who is a navy. Although she loves music and buys 50 violins in Greece at one go, her musical talent is not shown. She is busy with her husband and his son. Her violin dream is scattered in the trivial life, but she does not realize it. Suddenly, one day, her husband became a heartless man. Love flew away, the meaning of life seemed to be pulled away, and the future was dark. In the face of a crippled family, two sons who are not yet sensible, and the pressure of losing their financial resources, as well as loneliness, confusion, and aging, what can a woman do after crying, longing, and disappointment?
The film answers us that what is hidden behind these profound pains is awakening, turning point and a new world. From another perspective, Roberta, who seems to have lost everything, has actually changed from occupying a small home to owning the whole world, and is unprecedented in breadth. As long as you know what you want, it is not too late to start a new life. Roberta’s mother said to her daughter lightly: “You have to work tomorrow!” There was no too much consolation. Only this stinging reminder made Roberta’s heart tremble. Yes, after ten years at home, the outside world is so strange. Roberta walked into the headmaster’s office of a primary school in a slum area with a resume of ten years ago to apply for the position of violin teacher, but she left the education industry for too long, and the headmaster couldn’t help her. Finally, the children from humble origins opened their hearts to pray for holiness under the nourishment of music, and Robotta also washed away the vulnerability in the children’s joy and misfortune, stimulating a woman’s strong optimism.
